Manicure
A girl's hands are one of her best accessories!
What you will need: Bowl of warm, soapy water
Hand towel
Nail file
Cotton wool
Cuticle stick
Hand and nail moisturiser
Clear nail polish
Nail polish in pretty pink shades
1. Trim and file your nails into an oval shape.
2. Soak your hands inthe soapy water and then gently press back the cuticles (the skin surrounding you nails) with the
cuticle stick.
3. Let your hands dry completely, then apply a clear base coat of polish to your nails to stop them from turning yellow
(not a good look).
4. Once the base coat has dried, apply two light coats of pink nail polish wait for the first to dry before applying
the second).
5. When the nail polish is completely dry, massage your moisturiser into your hands up to the wrist (this feels lovely!)
Pedicure
Feet are the most overworked but under-pampered part of the body!
What you will need:Tub filled with lukewarm water
Hand towel
Essential
oil (lavender is good)
Pumice stone or sponge
Nail File
Nail scissors/clippers
Cuticle Stick
Foot cream
Toe seperators (or cotton wool balls)
Nail polish
1. Trim your toe nails stright across and gently file the edges.
2. Add your fave essential oil to the tub of water and soak your feet until they're nice and soft.
3. Place your feet on a towel and use a pumice stone or sponge to exfoliate the hard skin on your big toes and
heels, then gently push back the cuticles wil the cuticle stick.
4. Massage your feet with a fab foot cream (if you're not too tickly, get a friend to do it!)
5. Place toes separators or cotton wool buds between toes and apply a base coat of clear polish. Allow to dry, them follow
with a coat of your fave colour, removing any smudges with nail polish remover as you go.
Facial
Young skin doesnt need a lot of help, but a quick facial in winter will leave it feeling extra-soft!
What you will need: Tub of warm water or bathroom sink
Hand towel
Sachet-size face mask (like Nivea Single Mask)
1. Splash your face with lukewarm water and gently pat dry with hand towel.
2. Open the face mask sachet and spread the contents evenly over your face and neck.
3. Leave the mask for five minutes or until totally dry. You can even try what movie stars do and place slices of cucumber
or cold, wet teabags on your (closed) eyes to relax while the mask sets!
4. Smile and either peel or rince the facemask off, according to pack instructions.
5. Apply a light coat of face mosturiser.
