Backyard Beach 14yr. hi im 14 years old and for my past birthday we brought the beach to my backyard! what we did was we set up a volleyball net which could also be used as a badmintin net and played badminton and volleyball. the net only cost us $10. we also did the limbo, played who am i and musical chairs! everyone loved it! it may seem like maybe musical chairs and who am i are a bit to young for 14 yr olds but im telling u they wanted to keep playing even after cake! but to bring the beach to my backyard what i did was i got a bunch of lias from the dollar store for $1 for all of them and decorated my backyard in yellow and green to make it look like the sand and the coconut trees. I also got some coconuts and hang them from the trees in my backyard. we asked all the guests to wear their bathing suit with a skirt on the bottoms. around my pool we had longe chairs set out we had a "bar" with margarita glasses filled with kool aide, smothies and neat fruit juices. We had beach balls everywhere and nice big umbrellas for shade. Everyone is still talking about it!

for my 16th birthday i have decided to have a makeover/spa/glamour party and this is how it is planned to go. the colouer theme is pink and green. it will start by my friends being piked up in a limo this will be the easiest thing to do for everyone because i live out of town.when every one arrives i showthem where the toilet and other important places where then they all get dressed into a bath robes that i supply we get them from a 2$ shop.then we go into the lounge room and i put on a movie while we watch the movie each girl gets a turn of being made up(ill have 3 older friends do this)they start by giving us facials,manicures and pedicures you can find helpfull tips and recipes for facials on the internet.After that we will get dressed into nice clothes that we will ask them to bring i will also have some supplied in case they want to really dress up(i will get these from second hand shops and will also supply shoes and jewlery)once we are dressesd we will get our hair and makeup done.we will then make our way to the dinning room we will serve normal party food but on fancy plates we will drink 'martines'using martiny glasses with lemonade and lollies threaded onto tooth picks,we will then have the cake ,we are having a photo cake that our local bakery will make they print a photo you give them onto a cake it will be a photo of my group of friends.then we will open presents.then we will put on some music for every one to dance to.we will then get into our bathers and go into the spa.after that we will get into our pj,s and watch some movies.in the morning will wke up and have a big breakfast in the dinning room consisting of pancakes,scones,crumputs and juice.then we will get dressed and watch movies untill they get piked up.they will recieive a cosmetics bag filled with lip gloss,champane bubble blowers,party popers some pretty hair clips,lollies and photos we took through the night with the digital camera.i hope this gives you some ideas for your next party.

A hawiian night spa-well i'm turning 12 this winter and for my party i can't decide weather to have a hawiian luau or girls night out spa so i put them together when the girls come i will give them their name tags writen in hawiian and we will play a name game to know everyones hawaiin name so we can call eachother that during the party before the name game i gave them leis grass skirts and lei braclets we got them to bring their bathing suits so that we could soak in my bath tub with jets while we made appointments for our differents stations my mom got the play money ready they were givin each 1000$ in a take home coin purse after we were done making appointments we explained how it was going to work we could not see eachother until the fashion show they were told to bring their coolest outfit they dressed up in them before we got pampered we had nylon/plastic table clothes on them so that it would not ruin their clothes your probably wondering how we got it so the coulden't see eachother they had take home sleep masks on while someone lead them to their next appointment so when we were all done getting make up ,hair,facials and nails done we were led dowstairs for a fashion show we still had sleep masks on so once we got in front of the curtain we could take off our masks off and show off to the judges they tooks before and after pictures of us we could only see eachother after the fashion show was done so after we were done on the catwalk we had to put on our masks and sit down until it was over after that we got our swim suits on we had people do our massages and we went in the bathtud one by one for ten minutes each then we kept our bathing suits on and got our grass skirts on and or leis and we ate fruit kabobs and hawaiian type foods then we had cake and opened presents then we went up to my room and watched lilo and stitch because it's hawaiian themed in the morning after we sleep there will be a hotel style buffet breakfast buffet we'll eat get our treat bags and then we'll have a vote for the fashion show with the pictures and look and vote for best dressed best poise and best color etc... then we'll have an auction with prizes we'll use the remainders of our moneyafter the auction it will be lunch time and we'll make subs or tacos and then their parents will pick them up i got my supplies at www.oriental.com they have awsome hawaiian stuff and loads of other stuff TIP-only invite a couple of people so ur parents don't go through a tough time and thank your parents alot after cause this is gonna be the best birthday ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This part could really be for any age, I suppose. I am planning it for my 14th birthday party. I know my friends will love it! ok!  In the invitation, include the following: The usual invitation stuff, and  "What Hollywood style party. Come dressed as your favourite famous person, or as whomever you think you look like, or you can make one up! Don't discuss who you're supposed to be with any other guests! I will need to be inform ahead of time {when you return this} who you are coming dressed up as." Something along those lines! and..    Please finish the following. And do not discuss either of them with any other guests. At all. There will be an activity for each in which you will need this information secret. The following information will be needed to plan for the party, so please return ASAP!  Questionnaire: "My favourite color is ______", "My favorite song TO SING is _______and I sing it ________." The most famous person I've ever met was ________"  If I could be someone famous I would be _______.  Celebrity tidbit: Favourite color is ______Favourite song is ______Favourite movie is ______ Has an addiction to _____ If applicable (To anything, not always bad) In recently in a beef with _____ if applicable Debut song/movie was _____ And whatever else you wish to include.  As for decor, doesn't really matter.  Activities: Guess who game. Also in the invitation, they will be asked to decide whom they will come as and to fill out and information tidbit about them. The host will need to be informed of whom is coming as whom, for the following activity:  Guests will individually model their outfits, and the hostess will read the tidbit information on them. People will guess as to whom they are. For prizes we will have little dollar store stuff. You know, stuff that comes in 3/dollar or 4/dollar maybe even 6/dollar you know, stuff like that. Also for the Hollywood trivia game prizes.  Host will make a Hollywood trivia game from one of the MANY sites on the web. Also Who said from the questionnaire. {Lyrics from songs, and from movies. Will be like Jeopardy Hollywood Movies for 100 Hollywood songs for 500 who said: celebrity for 300 or who said: friends for 200 Person/s with most points at the end will win a prize.} There will be a round for up to 100 points, 500 points, and 1000 points.   Karaoke! Try to have as many of the songs as are mentioned the questionnaire.   Video tape or take lots of pictures if possible. It will be deeply regretted if it is not recorded! {If it is recorded, make copies for everyone who attended the party so they can remember it, if possible}  now for food, you can really have whatever you want, But I myself am getting my mother to make me a delicious oreo cake. Thats what I'm doing for my party. I hope you like my idea, and yeah.

For my 13th birthday party I had a scavenger hunt at a local mall. I invited 5 of my good friends (6 people in total including me.) About 3 days prior to my party my mom went to the mall searching for clues to put on our "clue list" - which both teams would recieve the day of the party. She then created questions for our clue lists. Some questions were in the form of a riddle, so we would have to first figure out the store we had to go to. For example she would write; "This store is named after a city - Go there and buy ONE 'Pocket Angel'" In a different event some questions were straight foward. For example; "Go to Target and purchace a $3.00 pack of goodie hair pins." And finally some questions required us to find information. For example; "How many doors are there in the mall?" On the day of my party all of my guests arrived at my house to meet before we left to the mall. Once we arrived at the mall we were divided into two teams (this was done randomly by picking cards out of a deck.) We also set a 1 1/2 hour time limit to find as much as possible. In addition we figured an end point where we would all meet when we were done. Each team was given a bag to carry, a watch, the clue list \*\*Each clue list was jumbled in a different order so teams would not run into eachother\*\* and $20.00 to spend on items to be bought. My mom also took time to explain the rules and proper mall etiquette when searching...After this we were off! When we finally ended our searching the winning team was awarded jumbo sized candy bars :) We all had a blast and everyone was commenting on funny things that happend during the hunt. The party favors were all the items that we bought during the scavenger hunt; like earings, hair items, etc. My party didn't end there though. We headed off to a yummy italian restraunt where we had cake and opened presents. Considering the fact that this party was fairly in-expensive and GREAT FUN I would recommend this to any teenage girl! I truly had a fabulous time and so did my friends. We still talk about it today!
